Help Santa
Once upon a time, in a happy season, during the Christmas holidays, the streets of a city were filled with people and lively laughter, for the joy of the holidays had entered everyone's hearts. Everyone's, except Ethan's.
— Bah, what nonsense!
Ethan was a young man who lived alone in an apartment. Because of this, he had become grumpy and sad, in his heart, which was good otherwise.
— Hmm, what's so happy about Christmas?
— Well, sir, it's a wonderful time! The beautiful lights... — A waste of electricity. — The delicious sweets... — Which are a nice gift in themselves. — Ah! What about Santa Claus? — A story for children. It's clear he doesn't exist. — Ha! Oh! There's a lucky scratch card on this package. Won't you try it?
Ethan wasn't interested, but the saleswoman insisted, so, in the end, he agreed.
— Well then! — Ooo! You've won a trip to Christmas Island!
Ethan hadn't heard of this island, but he left thinking about it.
— Hmm, well, at least I'll enjoy the trip and escape these exaggerated festivities.
So, on the evening of his departure, Ethan walked around, smiling happily.
— I've escaped the Christmas festivities!
