In Search of a Queen
Once upon a time, there lived a king named Archidey. He ruled his kingdom with love and cared for his people. In return, they always praised him.
You'd think such a king would be happy, but not King Archidey. You see, His Majesty was a powerful, clever, and great ruler.
— Hey, thanks for the compliments!
— My pleasure, Sire!
But, even though he had these wonderful qualities, he had no one to share his joy with. And by that, I mean a queen.
The Search for a Queen
He searched all the lands for a woman pleasing to him, but none suited him. Like that one, why did you give up on her?
— Because she didn't understand my jokes. None of them know how to laugh or how to play.
— So, what kind of queen are you looking for?
— I'm looking for someone who loves adventure. Who's clever and funny. Understand?
— I wonder when I'll find her.
An Unexpected Idea
One day, he saw a merchant's ship at the kingdom's docks. He looked at it with longing in his eyes, probably wondering what adventures they had experienced at sea.
— Actually, I was wondering if I should marry a pirate.
— Ah, I don't think your people would like that.
— Hmm, you're right.
Archidey watched the sailors, and then an idea came to him.
— Sailors travel all over the world. Maybe they know a woman who would suit me.
So Archidey went to the surprised merchants and asked them.
Princess Elena
— A worthy woman
